Birth or postpartum preparation sessions are hourly sessions that are tailored to your needs and desires. These are great if you are seeking support or education from a doula outside of the birth setting. Support folks are welcome.

Sessions are customizable and can include:

• Education for labor support

• Pain management and comfort measure techniques

• Understanding movement in labor (with or without an epidural) - I highly recommend having at least a basic understanding of this if planning for a vaginal birth

• Discussing options during labor and birth

• Developing birth preferences (a “birth plan”)

• Understanding (and options for) inductions

• Postpartum recovery and plans

• Scheduled cesarean prep and recovery

• Reviewing past birth experiences to prepare differently for subsequent ones

• Preparation checklists (birth bag, postpartum, etc.)

• Access to my client portal
